Game 3 of the MJHL Finals

Puck drops at 7:30 pm Thursday April 1 @ the St James Civic Center. Tickets go on sale at 6:00 pm.

Team pulled in from Dauphin early this morning (2:00 am)... Will have an on ice workout at 4:30 to rejig the game plan after suffering a 6-1 pounding last night.

Game Two of the MJHL Finals

Saints will be jumping on a bus 1:00 pm Tuesday to head up to Dauphin for game two... Puck drops at 7:30.

Dauphin Runs Leclerc in GM 1

Marlin Murray is up to his old tricks again... Back in 2007 Murray sent a guy off the bench to run then Selkirk goalie Cody Didychuk in game five of the MJHL Championship. Eastman Selects AAA goalie, Patrick Bruce had to come off the bench in relief. With the score 4-1, Dauphin stormed back to tie the game and take it to double ot. Selkirk won the game and the league title.

Selkirk's coach that season was Keith Cassidy.

MJHL Finals Start Saturday March 27th!

Welcome to the Winnipeg Saints new blog site!

The Saints will host the Sherwood Division Champions, the Dauphin Kings, this Saturday at the St James Civic Center. Puck drop will be 7:30... The Saints have made the Civic Center their new home and have been practicing there all week...

Arrangements are in the works for a fan bus to make the trip for game two to Dauphin to cheer on your Saints. Cost per person will be approximately $40 and will most likely leave from the Civic Center. However, there is an outside chance it could leave from Dakota. More info to follow regarding the bud...

Saints home bench will be on the east side closest to the penalty box, which mean their end for two periods will be the end closest to the canteen (north end). The Civic Center is currently without WiFi, much to the chagrin of the media. WiFi will be available for the home games...
